Most of my students study acoustic communication in birds.
We study acoustic communication in birds, particularly communication about danger, vocal mimicry and duetting. We study alarm calls, song, eavesdropping on other species, and communication between parents and their young. We are currently available to cosupervise projects on vocal mimicry; see the project description. I am also open to cosupervision of other projects.
