SAM LANE'S BIOGRAPHY
Sam Lane is a chemical engineer and fermentation expert with a B.S. and M.S. from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (2016). He has a wide breadth and depth of knowledge around fermentation, spanning from R&D to industrial scale to downstream processing. Sam has dedicated his career to fighting environmental issues, including biofuels, agricultural biotechnology, food, and finally plastics, as Head of Fermentation at Samsara Eco.
SARA SADEGHIPOUR'S BIOGRAPHY
Sara completed her PhD at the University of Sydney, focusing on mutations in enterovirus 71 3D polymerase and their impact on genome copying fidelity and virulence in mice, with the goal of developing a therapeutic vaccine. She possesses extensive experience in virology, cell therapeutics, and stem cell fields, gained during her research fellowship at the Heart Research Institute and Monash University.
Transitioning to the industry, Sara joined the In Vitro Technologies Life Science Support team in February 2019, swiftly advancing to team leader. Following this, she served as a Technical Sales Representative at United Bioresearch across VIC & SA starting in April 2021. Sara has since returned to In Vitro in April 2022 as a Product Manager, overseeing the Bioprocess portfolio, which includes vendors such as INFORS HT, C-CIT, and Lauda. Committed to providing excellent technical support to ANZ bioproduction customers, Sara also prioritizes supporting her colleagues.
