Dr Marten Moore demonstrates exceptional excellence in higher degree research supervision, as evidenced by his sustained commitment to developing independent, ethical researchers. He supports students in cultivating intellectual rigour and disciplinary expertise by providing access to relevant coursework, research workshops, and targeted literature. Marten maintains regular, purposeful meetings to guide students through milestones, offering timely and constructive feedback on drafts, presentations, and publications. 

He has a strong track record of successful and timely completions, with several students progressing into academic, research and industry careers. Many of his supervisees have presented at national and international conferences and published in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. His inclusive and flexible approach to supervision reflects a deep respect for individual student needs, including those from diverse and equity backgrounds. 

Marten actively encourages student engagement with broader research communities, both nationally and internationally, and facilitates networking opportunities through conferences, collaborations and supervisory panels. He models scholarly integrity, supports ethical research practices and fosters career development through mentoring and collaboration. A number of students have continued successful research partnerships with him post-completion, demonstrating the depth and impact of his supervisory relationships.
