Associate Professor Adrienne Nicotra and the 'Plant Detectives' team (Dr Ulrike Mathesius, Dr Gonzalo Estavillo and Dr Beth Beckmann) won an Australian Award for University Teaching (formerly known as ALTC and Carrick Awards), for 'Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning'' in 2011.
