You are cordially invited to join us for the 2020 ANU Ralph Slatyer Medal presentation and public lecture. 

The medal is awarded annually to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to biological science in Australia, and will be awarded in 2021 to Professor Jane Elith, of the University of Melbourne.

Professor Elith is internationally recognised for her research on statistical modelling of species' distributions, which has become a tool widely used in both fundamental and applied ecology. This work resonates strongly with Ralph Slatyer's seminal work on environmental determinants of species' distributions.
