On 4 December 2017, we celebrated 50 years of Biology at ANU.

The day featured short talks from RSB researchers, including the ACT Scientist of the Year Kai Chan, and an evening plenary session featuring ANU Biology luminaries Susanne von Caemmerer, Adrian Horridge, and Prime Minister’s Prize for Science winners Graham Farquhar (2015), Jenny Graves (2017) and John Shine (2010). Following the seminar program was an afternoon tea and evening drinks and canapés, and wander through a specially prepared exhibition highlighting the science, people, and accomplishments that have made our first 50 years so special.

We had a great turnout to celebrate 50 years of biology at ANU. Here are some photos from the day.
