The annual RSB Postgraduate Student Conference will feature over ~100 talks presented in three concurrent sessions. Please come along to support our PhD students – history has shown it is a ripper day of short (8 min) talks.

Catering and registration event.
All catering for the conference will be held in building 46 with a registration event from 8:30 am for the student presenters to be issued with name tags, have a cuppa and hear some introductory comments from Allen. This will also be the time for those presenting a poster to put them up on display.

Poster display and the 1 min “Elevator Pitch” competition.
A number of student posters will be up on display for the duration of the conference with a 1 min “Elevator Pitch” competition planned for ~5:30pm to start off the conference after party. The competition will see students give a 1 min to pitch about their poster, with the audience given the opportunity to vote on the best presentation (by confidential ballot). The People’s Choice winner will receive a $100 voucher

Prizes
As usual there will be prizes for the best student talks and these will be awarded at the RSB morning tea on Tuesday 27^th Nov.
