We welcome all members of the ANU community to a family-friendly afternoon tea with the VC in the garden of University House. Bring along a picnic rug, and enjoy the start of spring with some cakes on the grass. The event celebrates the many members of the ANU community who have caregiving responsibilities, and we welcome students, staff and their families in all their diversity. We will be joined by some of the youngest members of the university’s community.
The event celebrates the launch of the ANU Family Friendly Committee and ANU’s commitment to the needs of families and carers at ANU. We will also have a special gift presentation from some of the youngest members of our community to the VC.

About the ANU Family Friendly Committee The ANU Family Friendly Committee is an ANU group constituted under the ANU Gender Institute working closely with several committees, stakeholders and representatives across campus and from NTEU, ANUSA, PARSA, Childcare Centres and ANU Chancelry to help make ANU an inclusive, family friendly space and community.
