Description

Communities living in low-resource settings affected also by conflict, displacement and political instability are most at risk from emergeing infectious diseases. Control of such diseases in these settings is also complex and challenging. This presentation will discuss the population health aspects of infectious disease emergence, spread and control related to Ebola Virus Disease in West Africa and drug-resistant forms of infectious disease in the Asia-Pacific.
