L’Oréal Australia For Women In Science Fellowship
Sarah Pryke was awarded one of four L’Oreal for Women in Science Fellowships as a postdoc at Macquarie University. The aim of the AU$20,000 fellowships is to encourage and support female early-career researchers and promote them as role models for young women interested in science.
“From my personal perspective, this award provided valuable support at a crucial time in my career and allowed me to successfully bridge the gap between postgraduate study and postdoctoral research. At a time when many women leave academia, I was able to build on and expand my research,” Sarah says.
