Shujuan Zhang, a former student of the Atkin lab and the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plant Energy Biology, has been selected for the prestigious German Federal Ministry of Education and Research award 'Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development' to promote the international exchange of ideas regarding green solutions. The award strives to intensify international R&D cooperation in sustainable development, and winners are recognised for their outstanding achievements in making our societies more sustainable. The award, under the patronage of Minister Professor Johanna Wanka, honours 25 young researchers each year.
