Professor Alex Maier is an extremely passionate and devoted lecturer. Last year, in collaboration with multiple of his passionate 3rd year students, Alex published a paper on the topic of "Fusion of arts and science: ‘Parasitology Got Talent’". This year, Alex and his team was also awarded the National Science Week 2025 grant, one of two award winners in the ACT. This allowed him to deliver and teach science further, representing the university at a community scale. Crazy thing is, this is not all that he's achieved as of recent. Alex always comes up with innovative ways to engage and improve student's learning outcomes.
