Hannah Carle (PhD student, Meir group), was awarded Overall Winner for best poster at the British Ecological Society 'Festival of Ecology', also to be featured in the BES newsletter 'The Niche'. Hannah's presentation was from the first chapter of her PhD, which is focused on using functional traits to predict the survival and growth outcomes of rainforest trees.
