Melanie Ridgway (Maier group, BSB) won the prize for the best long format presentation at the at 2017 Conference of the Australian Society for Parasitology in the Blue Mountains (Leura). She managed to weave astronauts, fats and sex differentiation of the malaria parasite into a seamless storyline.
