Research interests

My primary research interest is in computational biology for phylogenetic and bioacoustic. I am interested in phylogeography and how competitive exclusion along with dispersal can structure genetic diversity. I also have an interest in the development of machine learning methods to classify animal vocalizations. They allow us to ask how their interplay with dispersal behaviours can generate geographic and historical patterns of variation in populations.
