The Research School of Biology holds an annual student conference for its PhD and MPhil students. There will be three concurrent sessions along the lines of the three RSB Divisions (BSB, EEG and PS), held in the SRES Lecture Theatre (Bldg 48), the Robertson Lecture Theatre (Bldg 46), and the Slatyer Seminar Theatre (Blgd 46) respectively.
Approximately 110 short presentations are planned. Each student gives an 8 min talk with 2 min of questions. Anyone may attend and support the students.
Morning tea,lunch and afternoon tea will be catered for those attending the conference, in atrium of building 46. Everyone is welcome to take advantage of the seating in the Little Pickle café (who are catering for the event), the atrium seating in building 46, the adjacent outdoor Japanese garden area or the lawn area between the RLT and SRES, and and after party for attendees is planned from 5:30pm.
Winners and runners-up of the best presentations in each of PS, EEG and BSB programs will be announced the following day (Friday 28 November) at a 30 minute meeting in the Robertson Lecture theatre at 10 am just prior to the RSB morning tea hosted by BSB.
