Bing Professor of Population Studies, and President, Center for Conservation Biology, Stanford University.

Professor Ehrlich will trace the changes from conservation in royal game reserves through nature study and national parks to current debates over ecosystem services and ethical arguments. He’ll argue the big need now is for a focus on the drivers of biodiversity destruction.
