Pollinators, plant evolution and speciation



Like many other Australian orchids, this species (Caladenia plicata) attracts its pollinator by sexual deception. The evolution, pollination and conservation of these orchids is the subject of a multidisciplinary program based in the Division of Ecology, Evolution and Genetics.
