Phylogeographic estimation of dispersal kernel

Description

Statistical phylogeographic approaches can be used to reconstruct the colonisation history of the environment from spatially located DNA sequences. It is then possible to test which parameters may influence the species spatial distribution. This project will use simulations to test to which extent it is possible to estimate these parameters. In particular, this project will focus on estimating species specific dispersal kernel in an evolutionary context.
