Mechanisms of PfCRT-mediated drug resistance and drug hypersensitivity

Enquiries from prospective students are welcome.  Note, however, that we will not be taking on ASC or Summer Scholar students for the 2017-18 Summer.

The projects will generally be based on our current research interests:

  • Drug resistance in the human malaria parasite.
  • Design and evaluation of novel antimalarial drugs.
  • Identification and characterisation of membrane transport proteins.
