We are holding a two-day symposium on the 12th and 13th of September as a tribute to the career and work of Barry Osmond.
Symposia will cover CAM, C4, engineering enhanced photosynthesis, photoinhibition and light reactions, photoprotection and retrograde signalling, chlorophyll fluorescence and isotopes. There will also be time for personal reflections and short talks.
We have built the symposium around fields for which Barry’s passion and scientific skills have left an impact, thereby presenting each of the speakers with the rare opportunity to share cutting-edge findings with an eye to the future that are informed by the past.
Our plenary speakers include Eva-Mari- Aro, Finland; Joe Berry, USA; Steve Powles, Australia; Joe Holtum, Australia; Shizue Matsubara, Germany; Ichiro Terashima, Japan; William Adams, USA; Murray Badger, Australia, Min Chen, Australia.
