GRADUATE COURSEWORK AT THE RESEARCH SCHOOL OF BIOLOGY
The Research School of Biology prides itself on the high quality of its teachers
and the support that staff members give to students. The majority of lecturers
manage research groups working on the leading edge of their disciplines and
they bring that experience into their courses.
The Masters programs are designed for domestic or international students who
wish to update their skills in the biosciences or gain a post-graduate qualification
at an Australian University. Study programs are individually designed to complement
prior undergraduate study and develop advanced knowledge and skills.

commencing the program. For more information go to ANU
College (the English language provider)
Some of the benefits associated with undertaking the Master's pathway include
the prestige of holding an internationally recognized qualification from one
of Australia's leading Universities. On completion of the two year degree students
have had many opportunities to network and get to know and impress potential
supervisors with the quality of their work and their enthusiasm for research.
The two year Master's degree also allows students to apply for admission to
the ANU PhD program. If students complete the research component of their Master's
program at a high standard (H1), they are very competitively positioned to
apply for one of the few available competitive IPRS scholarships which will
allow them to pursue PhD study and a career in research.
