ANU Electron Microscopy Unit
The ANU Electron Microscopy Unit (EMU), hosted in the R N Robertson Building (46), is a central service available to the University and external researchers. |

The Birt-Weidemann Building hosts a range of proteomic and microarray equipment, PCR, FACs and a gene gun. |

BioMolecular Spectroscopy Facility
The Biomolecular spectroscopy facility houses a range of spectroscopic equipment suitable for electronic and vibrational spectroscopy of biological material. |

Biotechnology Transfer Unit
The Research School of Biology BTU manages intellectual property and provides advice and assistance to researchers to transfer their discoveries into products, such as biotechnology, software and databases. |

Centrifuges
The Birt-Weidemann Building hosts a High Speed Centrifuge and Ultracentrifuges. |

Controlled Environment Facility
The Controlled Environment facility (CEF) houses 20 walk-in rooms as well as 43 free standing growth chambers, in the R N Robertson Building (46). Fully qualified staff provide a wide range of services. |

DOSSER is a free, web-based directory established to assist researchers from all disciplines to find scientific and research services and equipment. |

Electronics
Electronic services include the repair, test, service and calibration of laboratory equipment, growth chambers, domestic equipment, security and alarm systems. |

FPLC, HPLS's and detectors
Two HPLC's and a FPLC are hosted at the Building 41, with purchase of a new FPLC in progress. |

Gas chromatograph, Spectrometers and DNA Sequencer
A NIR spectrometer (Bruker), an ABI Capillary DNA sequencer, a Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer for plant volatiles research are available at Building 116. |

Information Technology & Media
The Research School of Biology IT Services provide desktop support, server-based services and infrastructure support. Media provides web-design, illustration, graphic, and photography services. |

Mass Spectrometry Facility
The Facility, housed at R N Robertson Building (46), aims to provide researchers with mass spectral based solutions to biological problems. |

Stable Isotope Facility
The stable isotope mass spectrometry facility is available to ANU and external researchers. We analyse a wide range of light isotope ratios, primarily in organic materials. |

Located at the R N Robertson Building (46), the Research School of Biology store stocks stationary and basic laboratory equipment, and coordinates equipment orders. |

Vehicles
The Research School of Biology fleet includes five 4WD vehicles (three at Building 116 and two at Building 46), a small bus (Building 116), and a town vehicle (Building 46). |
